With Verizon spokesperson saying that they have no immediate plans of a Verizon iPhone, its clear now that Verizon iPhone release is not happening soon, not at least at WWDC.
So all attention is now on Apple WWDC where next iPhone 4G release is expected at the hands of CEO Steve Jobs. But iPhone 4G is not the only thing expected at the conference.
Hopes are high as Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) kicks off on Monday. Speculations are rife over what device CEO Steve Jobs would unveil at the conference, which has marked official launch of various products in last three years.
Here are some top picks expected to be highlighted at the upcoming conference:
iPhone: Well it’s not a breaking news that Apple launches a smartphone at its conference. But the newest iPhone, as the media claims, is the best ever handset, having multifarious features. The million dollar question is that which feature will gain maximum popularity: its less curvy design or 1 GHz processor. And not to forget front-facing video camera!
3G iPad Buyers: AT&T, which disposed its USD 30 per month unlimited data plan, said that 3G iPad owners who signed up for the unlimited deal can continue the plan.
iPhone OS 4.0: Apple has already confirmed reports of working on its latest iPhone OS. Steve Jobs may come up with a surprise, as per the trend, with the next-gen iPhone's front-facing camera.
Foxconn Suicides: The company may also announce perks for its employees in a bid to control the rising suicides at its factories in China. Apple is likely to announce some aggressive steps to address the ongoing criticism of workplace conditions in Asian factories.
Lala: Apple had disposed the online Lala music service that it had taken over last year. Speculation is rampant that Lala will be transformed into a web-based iTunes storefront.
