UFC 118 Aftermath; After Losing Edgar Vs Penn 2, BJ Penn Eyes Quick Return To Action: Former lightweight champion B.J. Penn, who suffered defeat at the hands of Frank Edgar on August 28 at UFC 118 is getting ready for quick return to action.

Notably, Edgar had defeated Penn in April in Abu Dhabi to claim the lightweight title. But Penn is not sulking at the loss and is eager to get back in the cage as soon as possible.

"I'm going to stick to what I said about being as active as I can. I am going to try to contact the UFC and get a fight as soon as possible," he said in a video post on bjpenn.com. Prior to UFC 118, Penn talked to MMAjunkie.com Penn during a media session in Boston. In that interview, Penn he said he's found balance after wasting energy with under-training and then over-training.

Penn is 31-year-old now and he said that he is in his prime and it is right time for him to stay busy. "I just want to fight. I can't do this forever. I'm 31 years old. I think I'm in my prime. Let's do it now," he said.

In the Frankie Edgar vs BJ Penn 2 fight, Penn lost against Edgar in a unanimous-decision in the UFC 118 headliner. But the Hawaiian fighter suffered little damage in the fight. "Luckily, I did not get injured, so I've got no injuries. I can still build off what I built in my last camp," he said. Talking to reporters, after UFC 118, UFC president Dana White said he's not sure about Penn’s future and he would consult UFC matchmaker Joe Silva to decide the future course of action.
