Ever since the children's medicine recall has been announced, parents are naturally concerned over the safe disposal of medicines and what should they do with the recalled drugs.

Since the day Johnson & Johnson, announced its current Children's medicine recall on Friday, many concerned parents have raised a lot of issues over the recall. A primarily Tylenol and Zyrtec recall, this covers a range of 43 OTC drugs which are liquid formulations for children.

Johnson & Johnson voluntarily issued this recall after an FDA inspection of their manufacturing facility uncovered unsatisfactory conditions. This recall has raised many questions among the parents who have given these medicines from this batch to their children and how to get refunds for the drugs covered under the Children's medicine recall 2010.

Johnson & Johnson and the FDA says no injuries or deaths have yet been reported, but the consumers should still not use it. If children who have taken the recalled products have unusual symptoms, parents are urged to contact a health care professional.

It has been advised that the consumer should not use recalled Children's Tylenol or other medicines and also one should not give any adult medicines to a child.

The FDA is also suggesting that the parents should use generic form of medicine that are not affected by the children's medicine recall 2010. However if someone is keen to get a refund, one can contact McNeil Healthcare to claim refund for the children's medicines recalled in 2010.
