Teenage pop star Miley Cyrus is well-known for her wild ways and both fans and critics know that it is impossible to tame Miley. The 18-year-old has generated much controversy in the past few years for some bold decisions, including the video-taped bong hit that was released in December. On her part, Miley has preferred not to comment on that incident so far but the "LOL" star has given an interview to Marie Claire magazine, in which she has talked about the salvia situation.

"I'm not perfect. I made a mistake. I'm disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans," Miley told the interviewer. But when pressed whether it truly was a mistake—thousands of colleges kids do the same thing (or worse) every day—Miley's answer was earnest and surprisingly mature. "But they're not Miley Cyrus," she explained in the interview, which will be published in the March issue. "They're not role models. So for me it was a bad decision, because of my fans and because of what I stand for."

Miley was also in the news for spending some quality time with "Victorious" actor Avan Jogia, which sparked the rumors that the couple was dating. Miley however, said that all the noise about Jogia kissing her is useless. "If you look at the picture, I'm turned away, and he's kissing me on the cheek. It's very hilarious to me that people say, 'They're making out.' In making out, there's a tongue."

In the interview, Miley has also talked about her upcoming movie "LOL" with Demi Moore. "It really felt like Demi was my mom a little bit because we had such great conversations, and I feel like it shows on-screen," Miley said. "I can't wait for 'LOL' to come out. It's what I'm most proud of."
