Megan Fox Shows Off Her Engagement, Wedding Rings
Megan Fox shot to the limelight pretty early in her career. The Transformer star is also dubbed as next Angelina Jolie and is followed by the media everywhere she goes. Media takes a full interest in what she talks, how she dresses and so on. New bride Fox made a surprise appearance at Monday’s VH1 Do Something Awards in Los Angeles. The radiant Fox wore both a new engagement ring plus her wedding her, drawing all the limelight and media attention. The actresses has been sporting the new rings since her surprise June 24 nuptials to Brian Austin Green.
Fox’s new engagement is the one she has replaced the one she lost a Hawaiian beach just hours after Green, 36, proposed June 1. According to jewelry and style expert Michael O'Connor, Fox's engagement ring replacement is loaded with a 3 carat radiant cut center; "the platinum set diamond collar around it adds significant size and sparkle to ring," O'Connor tells UsMagazine.com. The engagement ring costs about $80,000, he estimates.
The wedding ring, O'Connor tells Us, is made up of platinum and diamond eternity band with an approximate price of USD 20,000. "Since they are both set in platinum, there's definitely maximum sparkle going on," O'Connor adds of Fox's bling. The couple first got engaged in November 2006 but broke up in February 2009. They finally tied the knot at a hush-hush Hawaiian ceremony attended only by Green's 9-year-old son, Kassius.
Fox is thought to be hottest Hollywood diva and frequently appears in men's magazine "Hot" lists. She was listed #18, #16, #2, and #5 on Maxim magazine's yearly Hot 100 list in 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2010 respectively. The FHM readers chose her the "Sexiest Woman in the World" in 2008. She ranked number one on Moviefone's "The 25 Hottest Actors Under 25" in 2008.
