The "Means Girls" star Lindsay Lohan could walk out of Lynwood women's prison in California today, just five days after getting a 90-day jail term. Earlier it was reported that the 24-year-old troubled starlet would serve at least two weeks after being jailed for failing to attend alcohol education lessons. But the lawyers of the actor are working hard to secure her release as soon as possible. "Lindsay''s team is doing everything they can to get her out this weekend," News of the World quoted one source as saying.

Talking to the Los Angeles Times, L.A. County Sheriff spokesperson, Steve Whitemore said Lindsay might not remain behind bars for 90 days if she is a model prisoner because jails in L.A. are over crowded. “So far Lindsay “has been extremely cooperative. As with any inmate, Lohan was treated just like any other…Inside it's business as usual,” said Whitmore.

Meanwhile, Lindsay is under a 24-hour surveillance as she was spotted with marks on her arm and authorities were worried that she might try to harm herself. "They are not taking any chances whatsoever as she's quite vulnerable. They are not sure if the marks are fresh or from her time spent at the center before but they certainly look suspicious," a source from the prison said. Although Lohan has went to jail only five days ago, she had several visitors so far including her mother Dina and sister Ali and former girlfriend DJ Samantha Ronson. Lindsay has not allowed her father to visit her in jail.
