Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio is given a temporary restraining order by a court against a "delusional" woman who believes that she is married to the Titanic star and is pregnant with her baby- Jesus. Court records showed that the Hollywood biggie was granted the restrain order against 41-year-old Livia Bistriceanu, a Chicago-resident.
The 35-year-old actor and his security team submitted a sworn declaration before the court claiming that travelled from Chicago to Los Angeles at least twice to try to meet the star at his home and business office. The women refused to go away and acted aggressively if asked to stay away from the Oscar winner actor.
On his part, DiCaprio claims he has never met Bistriceanu, but admitted that she has sent him numerous handwritten letters. One letter sent by the delusional lady included the greeting, "Dear husband Leo." The letter also and contained statements, which showed that Bistriceanu believed that she was carrying DiCaprio’s child.
"Given this obsessive and harassing behavior, I am frightened of Ms Bistriceanu and feel that my personal safety, and the personal safety of those around me, is in jeopardy," said DiCaprio in his declaration.
The court documents showed that Bistriceanu has been placed on a psychological hold twice. N the restraining order Bistriceanu has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away DiCaprio.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated case, a Canadian woman accused of injuring DiCaprio with a broken wineglass will now face trial. The women identified as Aretha Wilson allegedly attacked DiCaprio in June 2005, reported New York Daily News.
