Apple's iTunes 10 which has been available since Wednesday has already gotten over 3 million downloads, according to a report by Apple.
“One-third of the people who have downloaded iTunes 10 have joined Ping” Apple’s vice president of internet services Eddy Cue stated. Approximately 1 million users are using Ping.
Apple unveiled the new verison of iTunes with its social network Ping on Wednesday at the music event in San Francisco. Even though Ping is being reported to be vulnerable to scam attacks, people's response has been tremendous. In 2 days Ping got over 1 million users.
Along with iTunes 10 and Ping, Apple unveiled new iPod Touch 4G and new smaller Apple TV.
