It looks like Apple might be ready to launch its latest operating system iOS 4.2 to the masses for usage in the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The recent news had it that the Apple bosses had handed over the iOS 4.2 to the developers. It seems like the developers are now ready to submit the new operating system.

iOS 4 is the world's most advanced mobile operating system today. And soon iPad owners will get to enjoy its 100+ new features and innovations _ multitasking, folders, printing and even more.

The iOS 4.2 Build 8C134 has already been released for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. The latest update should be out anytime in the coming month.

Some interesting multitasking features have been incorporated in the new iOS 4.2 update including the software orientation lock and music playback controls in their new and upgraded forms make this new OS an anticipated wait.

The presence of the iOS folder, along with a plethora of other new features which were previously available to only the iPhone users, will now be within the reach of iPad owners as well.

The Apple Game Centre bears quite a resemblance to Microsoft's XBox Live Marketplace. Gaming enthusiasts will certainly appreciate of this upgrade. It would be quite nice if it would be possible to download games, set matches online and upload the scores on the Apple Game Centre as it has been on the Microsoft XBox Live.

So this November, be ready to revolutionize tour iDevices with the new, updated iOS 4.2.
