Cupertino-based electronics giant Apple is gearing up to host a press event on September 1 and rumors are strong that the company will make some announcement related to the release of Verizon iPhone and white iPhone 4 during next week’s event despite it being known to be a music event.

Logically the vent islikely to be about iPod, iTunes and may be Apple TV but the net is buzzing with reports about the possibility of iPhone on Verizon and white iPhone 4 at the event.
