Verizon iPhone and White iPhone 4 Release Imminent, Here is Why. Apple held a special event at its headquarters in Cupertino and Apple CEO Steve Jobs used the event to unveil two new MacBook Air netbooks, a new OS nicknamed Lion and some more things day before yesterday.

It was expected that Jobs would make some announcement related to the release of Verizon iPhone 4 and white iPhone 4 at the event but it did not happen. Jobs very well knows that millions if iPhone lovers are eagerly waiting for the release of iPhone on Verizon network and I think that the company should release the device as soon as possible.

Apple CEO’s recent tirade against Google Android is another indication that Apple is preparing to release the Verizon iPhone soon. Apple should release the device soon because the delay is allowing Google to expand its reach in the market. A recent survey has showed that Google’s Android OS has outpaced Apple’s iOS and if Apple really want to compete with Android then it should release the Verizon iPhone as the release would help Apple to add millions of customers in its list which will work well for the company.

Releasing iPhone on Verizon’s network is good idea because Verizon has a robust network across the US and customers would definitely buy Verizon iPhone in order to make use of the carrier’s strong network. At present, AT&T is the sole carrier of the device in the US and customers are not satisfied with the company’s services.

It is to be noted that Android-powered devices are impregnating the market very quickly and new devices are hitting the shelves every now and then so Apple need to come up with Verizon iPhone to counter the growing popularity of the Android before it gets too late.

As fas as white iPhone 4 is concerned it has already been spotted in the wild, so there is no question about it not coming. The only question is when. My guess is before the year ends.
