Jobs at a Q&A session on the much-discussed iPhone 4 antenna issue briefly mentioned Verizon hence leading to speculations that iPhone is coming to Verizon in near future. A reporter during the session said that he was unable to repeat the so called “death grip” and a signal loss phenomenon at the venue. Verizon iPhone 4G Release By Early 2011: Analyst

Barclays Capital analyst James Ratcliffe has predicted that Apple’s Verizon iPhone will hit the market in the first quarter of next year. Ratcliffe said that Verizon would activate 9 million new iPhones by the end of the year and the launch of a Verizon iPhone could lead to the defection of between 500,000 and 1 million customers from AT&T to Verizon Wireless.
