A fortnight after the release of Motorola Droid X, experts continue to analyze features of the device and new Droid X reviews keep coming out. But now as the initial euphoria settles down, the Verizon Droid X reviews carry a mixed tone. For example, while analysts praised the phone’s display as it makes experience of watching videos “fantastic”, some others complained about the phone’s interface being troublesome as there is a mishmash of apps and widgets on the screen. Verizon Wireless today confirmed that some Motorola’s Droid X smartphones are experiencing display issues but Motorola has resolved the problem and the handset maker has announced that it would replace the affected units with new models. Engadget reported that some Droid X users were seeing vertical banding and flickering on their screens, but the defect is found in around one tenth of 1 percent of device, claims Verizon.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs has revived rumors about Verizon iPhone 4 release once again. Jobs at a Q&A session on the much-discussed iPhone 4 antenna issue briefly mentioned Verizon hence leading to speculations that iPhone is coming to Verizon in near future. A reporter during the session said that he was unable to repeat the so called “death grip” and a signal loss phenomenon at the venue. Jobs responded saying that Apple has towers for both AT&T and Verizon in its premises. “We’ve got strong signal here,” he said. “We have AT&T and Verizon cell sites on campus.”
