Verizon released Motorola Droid X on July 15 across the US and the device was sold out hours after it went on sale. The smartphone has no doubt left enough of an impression on the hundreds of thousands of users and it is tough to ascertain that which feature of the device is attracting the customers most. The Motorola Droid X is the latest Android OS powered phone available in smartphone evolution. It is offered exclusively by Verizon Wireless for $200 with a new two-year contract. With a large display, 1 GHz processor, 16 GB of storage (8 GB of internal memory plus an 8 GB microSD card), and an 8 megapixel camera/camcorder, Motorola Droid X is making some serious noise in the segment. Most Droid X reviews have praised the device.

A fortnight after the release of Motorola Droid X, experts continue to analyze features of the device and new Droid X reviews keep coming out. But now as the initial euphoria settles down, the Verizon Droid X reviews carry a mixed tone. For example, while analysts praised the phone’s display as it makes experience of watching videos “fantastic”, some others complained about the phone’s interface being troublesome as there is a mishmash of apps and widgets on the screen. Apple CEO Steve Jobs has revived rumors about Verizon iPhone 4 release once again. Jobs at a Q&A session on the much-discussed iPhone 4 antenna issue briefly mentioned Verizon hence leading to speculations that iPhone is coming to Verizon in near future. A reporter during the session said that he was unable to repeat the so called “death grip” and a signal loss phenomenon at the venue. Jobs responded saying that Apple has towers for both AT&T and Verizon in its premises. “We’ve got strong signal here,” he said. “We have AT&T and Verizon cell sites on campus.”
