For all who are of the view that Apple cannot bring its iPhone on Verizon network, at least by not this year itself, they must rethink once. Is not Microsoft’s launching of its mobile OS Windows Phone 7 in the coming week, an indication that these giants can turn things around any way when they are desperate enough to get to prospective customers as well as thwart competition.

Verizon iPhone: A recent survey has revealed that 23 percent of AT&T users are willing to switch to rival carrier Verizon if and when they get the iPhone 4. But now these people must be facing a dilemma as Verizon, US largest carrier by subscription has announced to offer a refund of $90 million to 15 million subscribers, who were wrongly charged by the company for data sessions or Internet use. It is likely that Verizon may be asked to pay a penalty as well.

The rumors about Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon iPhone are going on for quite some time now and these days the rumor mills are working overtime and several websites recently reported that Verizon iPhone is set to hit the stores as early as January next year. The iPhone 4 is known as iPhone 3.1 in the Apple world, noted 9To5Mac.com. The tech website also claimed that Apple has also referred the 3.2 and 3.3 versions in the Apple TV firmware.
