The timing is perfect for Motorola Droid X to hit the stores on July 15. Following reports of iPhone 4 reception problem, its non-recommendation by Consumer Reports and a class-action status given to a lawsuit against Apple and AT&T , customers have turned their eyes towards Droid X in the hope that the device will satisfy their smartphone needs, which iPhone failed to deliver. Moreover, even Verizon Wireless has launched an attack on iPhone 4, making a mockery of the device’s antenna issues in a bid to promote Droid X. All this has created the right buzz for the launch of Droid X. Droid X vs iPhone 4 is now going to be worth watching.

The rumors about the release of a Verizon iPhone have been going on for a long time now and a few days ago Bloomberg had reported that Verizon will release the iPhone in January 2011, adding fuel to the rumors. On one hand, nothing is yet clear about the launch of a Verizon iPhone 4, but we all know about the action lawsuit that has been filed against Apple and AT&T based on the charges of monopoly abuse.

Will Verizon & Apple release the iPhone 4 on Verizon network in January 2011 or not? That is one question which is on everyone’s mind. Neither Apple nor Verizon Wireless have said anything on this so far. The expectation for the Verizon iPhone 4 gained momentum with the recent Bloomberg report, which cited two people familiar with the plan, claiming that the Verizon iPhone 4 will hit the market in January 2011. But before jumping at any conclusion, it might be a good idea to think over why Verizon would be interested in iPhone 4 at this time when its Android army is all set to demolish every competition.
